Make it Real Foundation, founded in 2022 by Peter and Kateryna Kolomiets, is a charitable organization that aims to support various categories of people. Our Foundation focuses on orphans, children from low-income families, and families temporarily displaced from the war zone. It also pays special attention to veterans, participants in hostilities, their families and official representatives.

The Foundation's mission is to create opportunities for every child to feel cared for and loved by their parents or guardian, contributing to their happy childhood and prosperous future. Taking care of veterans, their families and partners, the Foundation offers comprehensive assistance at all stages of reintegration into civilian life. This assistance covers various aspects, such as legal issues, medical and social rehabilitation for veterans and their families, retraining, education, job search, or even running a business.

At the beginning of the war, Kateryna led an important mission - the evacuation of people from Kharkiv to safe regions. She is responsible for the organization of charity events and ensures the attraction of the necessary funds for the implementation of our projects.

General partner of the Foundation

Peter is a former officer in the Israeli army. Now he is a successful businessman, serial entrepreneur and general partner of a venture fund.

With the beginning of a full-scale war, Peter organized the operational activities of a volunteer fund in Kharkiv to provide assistance to the military and the local population. Peter is an active donor to our foundation.

CEO of the Foundation

Anton is a Kharkiv resident, and before the full-scale invasion began, he worked in design and sales.

Since February 2022, Anton has been actively involved in the evacuation of people from Kharkiv and the region, and together with a group of volunteers, Anton provided the population with essential food and medicine.

Anton also took an active part in restoring buildings and communications damaged by the bombing, actively assisting the Family Line team and their project "Reconstruction of Kharkiv".

Iryna is in charge of the Veterans' Assistance area and is responsible for engaging partners.

Before the war began, Iryna worked in PR. In particular, she launched several socially essential projects to support secondary education, medicine, and children with cancer and to promote the Olympic movement in Ukraine.

Just two days after the invasion, Iryna and her family found themselves under occupation in the Kyiv region. After escaping and a short European stay, Iryna returned to Kyiv and continued volunteering alongside her main job.

Yevheniia Omelchenko is a volunteer who manages our social media.

Yevheniia is a real Konotop girl who experienced a difficult time when the full-scale invasion began, being far from her family. But even in difficult moments, she found the strength to help others: She volunteered in Warsaw and worked at a Catholic school, assisting Ukrainian children to adapt. She also organised humanitarian aid collections with her friends for the occupied Konotop.

Yevheniia is studying and working in England, but her heart is always with Ukraine.
